Consists of genealogical notes; a poem written by Anna Hempstead Branch on the Shaw Mansion in New London; copies of Perkins epitaphs in various cemeteries; an address about Groton Heights (1826; probably the battle of 1781) by Elias Perkins; a pen and ink sketch of the Perkins coat of arms; a proposal to establish a separate Congregational church to Rev. Abel McEwen (1835); and Ephraim Woodbridge's signature and copy of a sentiment he engraved on a windowpane on the day he married Mary Shaw in 1769.
